Photos from the Gates Project

I spent my father’s birthday, February 5, in Queens, New York training for Christo and Jeanne-Claude’s “Gates Project,” an installation planned for New York City’s Central Park. Installation took place from February 7 – 11, culminating with the saffron colored fabric “unfurling” on the morning of February 12. Many people contributed their time and hard work to make the Gates Project come to life. Thousands more were on hand to witness and experience an historic artist’s installation that allowed a deeper connection with all who walked through the glowing Gates. I am happy and honored to have been there!
